Waxing Crescent is a Ukrainian-Dutch progressive death metal band based in the Netherlands. With a long history of developing a diverse sound, the musical directions of the band expand beyond the death metal genre, delivering both brutal ragers and emotionally heavy ballads.

The band consists of Ukrainian vocalist and guitarist Oleksii Spitsyn, Curaçaoan bassist Fernandito Beaumont and Dutch drummer Tom Sewalt. With a big focus on theatrics and stage production, Waxing Crescent aims to deliver high quality music, visuals, and stage outfits and design in every project and performance, straying away from the conventional metal act expectations.
