If there is such a thing as a common European sound, NABER’s music embodies that completely. Influenced by Scandi-disco, French electro and German techno, the Dutchman is quintessentially European yet universally appealing.

His time in Manchester, a vibrant city renowned for its diverse nightlife, had a lasting impact on the eclectic producer. Although those musical angles are present, NABER’s unmistakable knack for melody writing and moody soundscapes allows for a unique vision that fits perfectly in the landscape of electronica. His calculated yet colourful synth-heavy club tracks are retro-infused walls of sound with hints of modern psychedelica and ambient. The producer’s storytelling also translates well to his exhilarating live shows. By using an extensive collection of vintage machinery on stage, his idiosyncrasies allow for spontaneous improvisations and dramatic climaxes whilst never undermining the club culture he came to adore. With a handful of releases on the horizon and some grander projects in development, he’s ready to give back to the continent what he received. Only one question now remains; is Europe ready for NABER?
