Dutch-Tanzanian multi-instrumentalist and producer Juma Iking blends house with afro-electronics to create a sound that is uniquely his own. Drawing from his Tanzanian heritage and Dutch influences, Juma weaves together deep rhythmic grooves and vibrant melodies shaped by rhythm, warmth and raw energy.

His latest single JUA KALI - Swahili for “fierce sun” - captures this spirit: music forged by heat, movement and connection.

As a true one-man band, Juma delivers dynamic live performances using acoustic and electric guitars, bass, keys, vocals, beatmaking and sampling devices, all brought together with his signature loop station. Each set is built live, creating an immersive and organic dancefloor experience.

From intimate venues to major stages, Juma has performed at festivals and venues such as Best Kept Secret, Lovelee and Doornroosje, where his tailor-made live shows invite you to move, and make it impossible to stand still.

Recently Juma completed a support tour for Jack Shore, performing at venues across the Netherlands and Belgium and bringing his genre-blending live show to new audiences in both countries.
