Dutch singer/songwriter Joost Laméris (1995) became acquainted with music at a young age by learning to play the violin, piano and guitar. He started singing and songwriting to turn his thoughts into art. This especially helped him in his teenage years when he discovered his sexual orientation as a gay man. After studying in London, he worked at an architectural firm and made a recent career switch to focus on being a musician. He now combines his passion for art, high fashion, architecture and his love for music and expresses this in sound and visuals. His music is a mix of English mellow tunes mixed with modern indie/chillpop and an 80's inspired production. His upcoming debut EP revolves around topics such as love, mental health and self- discovery as a queer man. 2023 will be a promising year in which the name Joost Laméris will not go unnoticed within the scene.
