Jona Esajas, known as “JONA”, is an upcoming artist from Enschede, Netherlands, born and raised in Paramaribo, Suriname. Although he grew up in a musical family, his passion was football, not music—until now.

While hip-hop is his main genre, Jona wants to explore different genres as well. His energetic performances at Summersquare, Nacht van Hengelo, and more have already left a strong impression. His debut single, "Slapeloze Nachten", tells the story of a chapter in his life, relatable for listeners who’ve faced similar struggles.
