Passion, hatred and delusions of a brighter future under an iron fist. This is what fuelled the “Architect of Chaos”. This lonesome soul was radicalized by a maleficent deity’s vision. As he sought a way for humanity to become the next evolution through enlightenment, he was misguided along the way.

Our debut album is a journey of the “Architect of Chaos”. You think you see the way paved with gold, but once you’re caught up in radicalized ideology you become a part of what you demonized.

HESKEN is a Dutch metalband est. 2018, Zwolle. Combining elements of 2000’s metal, death metal, metalcore and progressive they have left a unique footprint on the Dutch metalscene.

They started as a 5-piece progressive metalband. Through trial and error, surviving a certain plague and various line-up changes they managed to perfect their raw, uncompromised heavy style.

In 2023 they started off playing very well received shows throughout the Netherlands and they’ve gained a passionate following of metal fanatics. Moshers and music connoisseurs alike have expressed their excitement about a new band coming onto the scene with such a powerful live show, combined with virtuosic playing.

HESKEN released their debut single “Conspiracy” November 15th, 2023 live at Radio Lelystad and on all streaming platforms.

Their debut concept album “Architect of Chaos” was released on April 6th, 2024 along with a well-attended release party at Nirwana in Dronten.
