Bio

Born from the vibrant chaos of Tokyo and grounded in the inventive spirit of the Netherlands, Gaijin Killers is a post-punk band with a story as electric as their sound. The band’s genesis began with a twist of fate—a fortune-telling at a serene Japanese temple. When one of the founding members drew an O-mikuji (a Japanese fortune paper) urging them to “shed their skin, start anew, and embrace great fortune,” it wasn’t just advice—it was destiny. Taking the message as a sign to leave their old band identity behind, they rebranded with a name that hits as hard as their music: Gaijin Killers, inspired by a potent Japanese drink notorious for knocking tourists off their feet.

Now, the band is preparing to release their debut single, “Entertain”—a compelling introduction that not only highlights their raw energy but also proves they’re a band with a plan. To mark this milestone, they’re also unveiling a magazine that blends their love of anime, pop culture, and the rebellious spirit of punk, offering fans an intimate glimpse into the eclectic world that inspires their creativity.

For Gaijin Killers, it’s not about reinventing the wheel—it’s about setting it on fire and letting it blaze its own trail. The only question now is: Are you ready for the knockout?
