COMMON NIMMA is a dynamic and innovative alternative hip-hop collective hailing from the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.

The group consists of a lot of members: Azuzu, Cesco, Wouter Maas, Sam Alex, Tom Willow, Chico arts, Yaps, Poeria, Parsa and Luka and Jeanno.

All the members operate on their own and join each other in collaborative efforts. Together, they have created a unique sound & visual that blends elements of classic hip-hop with electronic beats, jazz-inspired instrumentation, and socially conscious lyrics.

Their debut EP, “ON COMMON," was released in 2021 and showcased their ability to seamlessly blend various musical genres while addressing important life issues.

COMMON NIMMA’s music is characterized by socially conscious lyrics that touch on topics such as love, family, and mental health. They believe that music can be a powerful tool for social change and use their platform to raise awareness about important issues affecting their community.

In addition to their music, COMMON NIMMA is known for their energetic live performances. Their most recent release, “Beyond the Bounds" is a testament to their growth as artists and their commitment to creating socially relevant music.The album features collaborations with other local artists and showcases their ability to push the boundaries of hip-hop while remaining true to their roots. In 2022 and 2023, COMMON NIMMA had the opportunity to showcase their talents to some of the biggest music venues in Nijmegen - Oranjepop, Mout Bier Festival & some Performances in Doornroosje, Merleyn and Luxor Live. The collective from Nijmegen, Netherlands, wowed crowds with their unique sound that blends elements of hip-hop, indie rock, soul, jazz and funk.
