Broken Haikus is the solo project of Jose Rueda, indie electronic music producer from Colombia, currently based in Arnhem. Distilled and inspired through many years of exploring different styles and techniques for creating music, always looking to find the weird, unexplored edges of the dance scene. A mix of many things electronic, from dubby techno, wonky electro breaks, dreamy soaring synth sequences, to groovy house, garage and beyond. All of this seen through the lens of live performing without any pre-recorded tracks, just pure sequencing into analog and digital machines, with lots of space for improvisation, discovery and letting go. Every performance is unique and lives in the moment.
